Looks like we have a full house for our first March Break Musical Theatre Camp, which gets underway tomorrow at St John’s Parish Hall in Lunenburg!

We’ll be blogging and tweeting about this project during the week — and if you want to see what the kids have been up to, there’s a free concert at the end of it all. Friday March 20, 7:00 pm at the Parish Hall at Cornwallis and Townsend.

See you all soon!

If your child is between the ages of 8 and 15 and you’re looking for a lively, fun alternative to other March Break events,  why not sign up for Maritime Concert Opera’s 5 day March Break Musical Theatre Camp?

Through games, activities, private and group lessons our campers will explore the elements of musical theatre and put on a public show at the end of the week, so they can share everything with their family and friends. This camp is open to young people at all stages of experience or ability — everything will be personally tailored to the children who attend.

Our camp leaders are not only professionals in music, dance and theatre, but they’re passionate about encouraging and supporting young people in their growth as performing artists.

Maritime Concert Opera would like to thank the province and the municipality for supporting our new program: a March Break Musical Theatre Camp to be held in Lunenburg from March 16 through March 20 this year.

Without the generous support of MODL, through the Community Recreation Program, and the Province, through the Cultural and Youth Activities Program of Communities, Culture and Heritage, it would not be possible to offer this Camp and we’re very grateful.

More details about the Camp itself coming soon!
