RISING VOICES:Â YOUNG SINGERS FROM THE SOUTH SHORE
Friday June 17, Pearl Theatre, 7:30 pm
Maritime Concert Opera always likes to present a contrasting show on the Friday night before the Lunenburg performance of the June opera, and this year the spotlight is on the performers of tomorrow. Rising Voices: Young Singers from the South Shore will feature some of the county’s most talented young singers, including Claire Jaworski, Jennah Barry, Elijah, Eva, Joshua and Peter Ernst, Katherine Heim, Meghan Jamieson and Lukus Uhlman accompanied by Sharon Gow-Knickle. Claire and MCO Artistic Director Nina Scott-Stoddart will MC the show. This is an opportunity for all of us to celebrate the extraordinary talent of the young people of our community who will present us with an enjoyable evening of varied vocal music.
Rising Voices: Young Singers from the South Shore takes place at The Pearl Theatre, Lunenburg on Friday, June 17 at 7.30 p.m. Tickets are $15.00, $5.00 for children 12 and under and are available from Fulton’s General Store in Lunenburg, Sagor’s Books in Bridgewater and Kinburn Pharmasave in Mahone Bay. You can also call 634-4280 to reserve tickets.
