Rhapsody Quintet

Just the kind of evening you need to look forward to as winter drags its weary way towards spring!!

Maritime Concert Opera invites you to A Night in Vienna with the Rhapsody Quintet on Friday, March 28th 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in St. John’s Anglican Church Hall, Lunenburg.

This gala evening is a fund-raising event for MCO’s June 2014 production of Die Fledermaus! There will be delicious appetizers, a cash bar and a silent auction. You’ll enjoy wonderful music, great food, cheerful company and you’ll help us raise funds to provide more delightful music in June when we perform Strauss’ Die Fledermaus.

MCO is delighted to welcome Rhapsody Quintet to our fund-raising evening. For more than 20 years Nova Scotia’s Rhapsody Quintet has thrilled and delighted audiences with its sparkling renditions of a wide range of music, including light classical, salon, musical theatre, jazz, tango, klezmer, movie music and more. Through their performances and recordings they have reached out across Canada and the world, performed for royalty, worked with school children and helped to raise funds for many deserving causes.

For catering purposes (this is really a concert with food and drink!) purchase your tickets early. We’d hate to run out of food for you.

Tickets $25 ($30 at the door) available from Shop on the Corner, Lunenburg; Kinburn Pharmasave, Mahone Bay; Strings n’Things, Bridgewater, or reserve before March 20 by calling 634-4280
