About Rob O'Quinn

Acis & Galatea is a charming pastoral story about the nymph Galatea,  the shepherd Acis and the giant Polyphemus.  While the story ends sadly (Polyphemus kills Acis in a jealous rage) Galatea transforms her late lover into a fountain, thus immortalizing him.

The principal roles are sung by Nova Scotian professional singers Jennifer Farrell, Colin Frotten, Jon-Paul Decosse and Andrew Pickett with Tara Scott as Musical Director and the Maritime Concert Opera Chorus.
